The Board of Supervisors records consist of minutes, agendas, correspondence, reports, and other records of the Board and its committees pertaining to the governance of Louisiana State University and the Louisiana State University System between 1854 and 2001. The records include 43 minute books (1865-1998); one book of regulations (1872); one letter book (1877-1892); and a brass plate, possibly from a portrait painting, engraved "General George Mason Graham, Vice President of the First Board of Supervisors, 1856."
